washing up is sublimated desire

sensual warmth hot touch

smooth curves caressing sharp

edges cutting intimacy

an electric blanket welcome

not a body of human kindness

nor companionship but a reminder

of not cold presence

still stacking balancing one

above another draining gap

allowing dry morning delamination

while klein kettle boils for tea
